Even if you're already a member of Groupon, you may not know you can buy deals from anywhere.  This is helpful if you know you're going to travel somewhere, or if you want to buy a gift for a friend, but some "local" deals are good lots of places -- like an eight-week Sunday subscription to the New York Times.  It's on sale now on the New York City Groupon site for only $16 -- that's a savings of $23, or 59 percent.  The Sunday Times is just awesome, with something in it for everyone.

Groupon: 3 Redbox rentals for $1

There's a great deal on Groupon right now for three Redbox rentals (normally $1 each) for only $1!  Here's how you do it:

1. Sign up for Groupon here.
2. Follow this link to find the Redbox deal.
3. Click the green button to buy it.  After a day or so you'll find it under "My Groupons" and you can print the three codes

Never used Redbox?  It's super easy to use.  You can use their website to search for a specific movie (or even video games in some markets!) or you can find your nearest kiosk and see what movies are there.  Reserve online if you like (note: you can't use a promo code with online reservations) and swipe a credit or debit card to rent!  Return to any box before 9 p.m. the next night and you're all done!

If you've never used Redbox before, there are lots of free codes floating around.  They can be used once per credit card, so if you have a few, you can use it once on each!  To use a code, add the movie to your card and then hit the "Add a Promo Code" button.
